The legendary player of Argentina national team Diego Maradona considers the forward of Portuguese national team Cristiano Ronaldo as the main star of the European championship 2016 starting on June 10 in France.
Maradona stated that Ronaldo will undoubtedly be the main star of the Euro-2016. He's one of those players who can lead the team and independently decide the outcome of any match. He named Cristiano a football heritage, adding that all real football fans like Ronaldo’s game.
He said the player of such a level will not be exposed to pressure. But the defenders, who will play against him, will be under pressure, Bernabeu Digital reported.
A day before Maradona expressed his opinion about the Argentine striker of BarcelonaLionel Messi, saying that he lacks the character to be a leader.
