MOSCOW. – As a result of a survey conducted by Russia’s Sport Express newspaper, the Armenian national football team’s and FC Shakhtar of Ukraine’s halfback Henrikh Mkhitaryan was voted as the CIS countries’ best footballer for the month of May.
The 23-year-old received a total of 58 points.
Journalists from fifteen countries and the visitors of the newspaper’s website took part in the survey.
