FIFA ethics investigators are likely to have recommended the sanctions over a “disloyal payment” that saw Vice-President Michel Platini, 60, receive £1.35m from suspended FIFA President Sepp Blatter, 79, the BBC reported.
If found guilty of corruption claims, they could face seven-year bans from football.
The adjudicatory committee intends to announce its verdict by Christmas.
Blatter and Platini, however, will have a chance to defend themselves and prove that they have not broken laws.
The two officials are suspended for 90 days since October.
