Borussia Dortmund (BVB) have qualified for the quarterfinal of the 2014-15 DFB Pokal, or DFB Cup, which is a German knockout football cup competition held annually.
At Tuesday’s match in Dresden, BVB defeated 2-0 SG Dynamo Dresden, a German 3. Liga club.
Armenia national squad and Dortmund midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan also contributed to his club’s win.
Although the Armenia international was not in the BVB starting eleven, he subbed in for Germany international and Dortmund midfielder Marco Reus in the 24th minute.
Reus had sustained an injury, and he had to leave the pitch with the help of physicians.
