Boxer Narek Manasyan (Armenia) achieved a convincing win against Mehmet Ufuk Tekneci (Turkey) in the Men’s 81kg competition at the 2nd Summer Youth Olympic Games which are held in Nanjing, China.
Next, Manasyan will enter the ring this time against Kazakhstan’s representative in Sunday’s semifinals.
Earlier, Anush Grigoryan, who is Armenia’s sole female world boxing champion, had advanced to the semifinals in the Women’s 51kg competition.
