French men’s field hockey team lost to India with 1:8 in the qualifying match for the London Olympic Games in New Delhi on Feb. 26.
France participated in the field hockey Olympic Games back in 1976 for the last time. To note, France played well before the final, but fatigue and tension hampered to win in the final, Le Monde reports.
India became field hockey champion for the Olympic Games for the 8th time.
