Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova, who is currently ranked World No. 3 in women’s singles, participated in the launch of the Porsche Macan, informs the Twitter page of the German automobile company.
The auto show was held in Los Angeles. Russia’s top tennis player was photographed with the new car, which will be available for purchase as of May 2014.
To note, Sharapova, 26, was recognized by the Forbes magazine as the highest-paid female athlete of the year. In 2013, the Russian athlete’s earnings totaled $29 million.
