As part of FC Aktobe, Armenian national football squad defender Robert Arzumanyan became the champion of Kazakhstan.
At the final-round match in the current season of the Kazakhstan Premier League, Aktobe drew level with FC Ordabasy at home, and by a score of 2-2. As a result, Aktobe clinched the champion’s title.
FC Kairat Almaty, which include Armenian national team midfielder Artur Yedigaryan, came in third and qualified for the Europa League. To note, Robert Arzumanyan had transferred to Aktobe before the current season and become one of the club’s key players.
