Armenia’s representative Anush Grigoryan captured a silver medal at the AIBA Women’s Junior/Youth World Championships that wrapped up in Albena, Bulgaria.
The International Amateur Boxing Association (AIBA) official website informed the aforesaid. In the final of the flyweight (50kg) division, 16-year-old Grigoryan lost to Chu Ju Chieh (Chinese Taipei). And Armenia’s Ani Hovsepyan won a bronze medal in the Bantamweight class (54kg).As a result, Armenia took their first medals in a women’s worldwide boxing event.
