Australia’s Mark Webber and Spain’s Fernando Alonso were reprimanded after Alonso gave Webber a lift back to the pits after the Singapore Grand Prix in Formula 1 racing.
Webber retired on the last lap and was stranded at Turn Seven. Alonso, who was second, stopped to allow Webber to climb onto his car as he drove to the pits.
It is Webber’s third reprimand in 2013, triggering an automatic grid penalty, BBC reports.
The rules say three reprimands in one season will trigger a 10-place grid penalty if two of them were imposed for “driving infringements.”
In addition, one of the videos shows Webber making dangerous maneuvers which could have caused an accident.
