A rematch between Nonito Donaire and Vic Darchinyan is slated for November 9, BoxingScene.com reported.
Over the last six years Darchinyan made numerous attempts to hold a rematch, but “The Filipino Flash” was avoiding the offers.
The bout was up in the air, as the fighters did not manage to reach agreement on the weight limit.
Earlier Nonito Donaire expressed uncertainty over the fact whether Darchinyan will be able to lose weight till the bout. The remarks angered Darchinyan who said he was going to break the opponent.
