Armenian athletes compete in Holland

Armenian boxers are competing in the 2013 European Youth Boxing Championships which kicked off in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.       

In his first bout, Erik Petrosyan (52 kg) defeated his German opponent, but he lost to Russia’s representative in his second match.

In his first fight, Taron Soghomonyan (56 kg) beat a Ukrainian boxer. In the quarterfinals, Soghomonyan will face the athlete representing Belarus.    

In his first contest, Narek Nabasyan (75 kg) defeated the fighter from Norway. Next, Nabasyan will get into the ring against a Ukrainian boxer.   

In his first clash, Henrik Sargsyan (81 kg) beat the Romanian athlete. In the quarterfinals, Sargsyan will face the boxer from Azerbaijan.  

Artur Arakelyan (+91 kg), however, was defeated in his very first bout, and by the representative of the host nation.
