Borussia Dortmund offered $30m for Mkhitaryan – Ukrainian club boss

Borussia Dortmund of Germany contacted us with an offer to acquire Mkhitaryan, Ukraine’s FC Shakhtar Donetsk CEO Sergei Palkin stated.

The Ukrainian club boss commented on the news about Armenian national football squad and Shakhtar attacking midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s possible transfer to another club.

“I don’t know where Mkhitaryan is, now; solely his agent knows this. Borussia offered $30 million for the midfielder. I contacted Mkhitaryan’s agent yesterday [i.e., Tuesday]. I wrote him about the official position of the club.

“We are prepared to sell Mkhitaryan for €30 million; this offer stands for the next ten days. If Mkhitaryan wishes to leave, they have to pay this amount for him,” Terrikon quotes Palkin as saying.
