Henrikh Mkhitaryan understands football – Ukrainian club ex-player

Armenian national football team and Ukraine’s FC Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan will at least repeat Starukhin’s record.

Yuriy Ananchenko, renowned Shakhtar forward of the 1960s, told the aforesaid to the official website of the Ukrainian club.

“[Mkhitaryan] has a good starting speed, he understands football. In addition, Henrikh has a well-developed sixth sense. He is always where he should be. How many chances Mkhitaryan wasted is a different story. He still lacks skill sometimes, otherwise he would be just like Messi. I think he will at least repeat [ex-Shakhtar striker, the late Vitaliy] Starukhin’s record. Only two goals are left for Mkhitaryan to score,” Ananchenko noted.
