The 36-year-old former Armenian world boxing champion Vic Darchinyan will attempt to take the WBC Bantamweight Champion’s belt away from the 29-year-old Japanese, Shinsuke Yamanaka.
The Darchinyan-Yamanaka bout will be held in Tokyo on Friday.
The formal weigh-in took place on Thursday.
