Armenian national football team and Ukraine’s FC Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is included in the transfer list of Spain’s FC Barcelona.
Barça Manager Tito Vilanova will try to rejuvenate the club this summer by acquiring Mkhitaryan and Brazil’s FC Santos striker, Neymar, Gerchteticker-yob reports.
The Catalan club is prepared to pay €25 million for the Armenian player’s transfer. Mkhitaryan and Neymar are seen as replacements for Alexis Sánchez and David Villa.
As NEWS.am Sport informed earlier, London’s Chelsea F.C. and reigning English Premier League champs Manchester City likewise are interested in the services of the Armenian international. To note, however, Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s contract with Shakhtar is in force until Summer 2015.
