NIZHNY NOVGOROD. – I am finally playing in the attacking center, and not in the right wing, Armenian national football team and Russia’s FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod forward Arthur Sarkisov stated.
Following his club’s training camp in Turkey, Sarkisov, 26, shared his impressions.
“The third training camp was successful for me. I was able to score some goals, but all this is owing to team play. I am finally playing in the attacking center, and not in the right wing; I feel better in this position. There are more scoring opportunities [and], as a result, I started to work more effectively. I hope to continue in the same spirit, helping the team solve the problems.
“We are very happy that the training camps are over. We have missed our families and the official games. We expect lots of fans in the stadium,” FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod official website quotes Arthur Sarkisov as saying.
