A European champion and two-time world junior champion, 19-year-old Hamlet Manukyan secured the world title with a brilliant performance, while Mamikon Khachatryan won the bronze medal.
In the pommel horse final at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships held in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, Hamlet Manukyan scored 15.300 points.
Mamikon Khachatryan, the 2025 World and European vice-champion, scored 15.000 points in the final.
Hamlet Manukyan could not hold back his emotions after being crowned world champion. On the competition floor, the world champion and the bronze medalist were assisted by coaches Hayk Nazaryan and Artak Aydinyan, as well as Olympic silver medalist Artur Davtyan.
Italian gymnast Gabriele Targhetta won the silver medal in this event with a score of 15.233 points.
