Chelsea captain Reece James has successfully undergone knee surgery, the club has announced.
The 26-year-old English defender sustained an injury during training and missed the Premier League match against Bournemouth (5–1).
According to talkSPORT, James will be sidelined for three weeks.
So far this season, Reece James has made 6 appearances for Chelsea across all competitions.
