Portugal head coach Jorge Jesus commented on the 2–1 victory over Norway in the fourth round of the Nations League group stage and the team's advancement to the quarter-finals.
"The result speaks for itself. Everything we planned worked out. Norway has the best striker in the world in Haaland and Odegaard, who is one of the best midfielders; it is a very powerful team with tall, physically strong players. You can only beat a side like that through a high level of technical skill.
I had great faith in our team, but I didn't expect us to win our first four matches and reach the next round so quickly," UEFA's official website quotes Jorge Jesus as saying.
Portugal leads Group A4 with 12 points.
