The 23-year-old forward for the Danish national team and the Italian club Napoli Rasmus Hojlund celebrated his goal in the Nations League Matchday 3 game against Portugal by mimicking the signature celebration of 41-year-old Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo. After the match, he approached Portugal’s 72-year-old coach, Jorge Jesus, and shoved him, according to AS.
Denmark lost to Portugal 2–4.
Ronaldo had left the national team camp after learning that Jorge Jesus did not plan to field him in the match against Denmark. Ronaldo had also been benched during the previous round of the Nations League, in which Portugal defeated Norway 2–1.
