Real Madrid opened the scoring in the 25th minute thanks to a free-kick taken by Turkish forward Arda Guler; the goal was recorded as an own goal by Elche's Argentine goalkeeper, Matias Dituro.
In the 33rd minute, French forward Kylian Mbappe doubled the lead for the team managed by Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho.
In the closing stages, Real Madrid conceded two goals, scored by Argentine forward Abiel Osorio and Spanish forward Fer Nino.
In the first minute of stoppage time, following a pass from Mbappe, Spanish forward Carlos Espín scored the winning goal for the Royal club.
Real Madrid sits in second place with 15 points, while Elche is in last place with 2 points.
