Armenia National team’s new jerseys feature elements of Armenian ornamental script

The Football Federation of Armenia and Macron present the Armenia national team’s new home and away jerseys, reports the FFA website.

The design of the new jerseys is inspired by distinctive elements of Armenian ornamental script. The home jersey features bird-shaped ornamental motifs, while the away jersey’s design is inspired by the decorative patterns adorning the margins of ancient manuscripts.

Thus, these centuries-old elements have become part of the national team’s new identity. The Football Federation of Armenia will announce the launch of official sales of the new jerseys in the near future.

The promotional video for the new jerseys was filmed at the Matenadaran Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts. The Football Federation of Armenia extends its gratitude to the Matenadaran for its support in the filming process.
