Head coach of the Russian club Krasnodar Murad Musaev has assessed the start of the Armenian national team captain and former Krasnodar midfielder Eduard Spertsyan at the Saudi club Al-Ahli:
"I have been following Spertsyan's progress in Saudi Arabia and have spoken with him. The team has welcomed him well. The only thing is that the coach changed right before the start of the season. However, the new coach knows Edik well and says they share the same views on football.
So, Spertsyan is happy with everything. It is a great experience for him. They are constantly playing in multiple tournaments.
Spertsyan is just starting out there; he is taking his first steps. But I am confident that everything will go well, as he has had a fantastic start," Championat.com quotes Musaev as saying.
This season, Spertsyan has scored 3 goals and provided 4 assists in 7 matches for Al-Ahli.
