Champions League: Wins for Barcelona and Stuttgart

In the first round of the European Champions League, Spanish champions Barcelona hosted the Dutch side Feyenoord and won 5–1 (video).

Brazilian forward Raphinha scored a brace for the team managed by German coach Hansi Flick. Also finding the net were German national team forward Karim Adeyemi, Spanish national team forward (and World and European champion) Lamine Yamal, and Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus. Yamal also provided two assists.

Germany's Stuttgart defeated Norway's Viking 3–1 at home (video).

Bosnian forward Ermedin Demirovic scored a hat-trick for the hosts.
