The French publication France Football has announced the nominees for the award for the best young footballer of the year:
Kerim Alajbegovic (Salzburg/Juventus), Ayyoub Bouaddi (Lille/Manchester City), Pau Cubarsi (Barcelona), Yann Diomande (RB Leipzig/Real Madrid), Lennart Karl (Bayern), Eli Kroupi (Bournemouth), Lamine Yamal (Barcelona), Johan Manzambi (Freiburg/Aston Villa), Ibrahim Maza (Bayer), Warren Zaire-Emery (PSG).
The winner will be announced on October 26 in London during the Ballon d'Or awards ceremony. Last year, the award went to Desire Doue, the French winger playing for PSG.
