France Football has published the list of nominees for the award for the best goalkeeper of the year.
Yassine Bounou (Al-Hilal, Morocco), Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid, Belgium), Gregor Kobel (Borussia Dortmund, Switzerland), Joan Garcia (Barcelona, Spain), Edouard Mendy (Al-Ahli, Senegal), Emiliano Martínez (Aston Villa / Chelsea, Argentina), David Raya (Arsenal, Spain), Vozinha (Colo-Colo, Cape Verde), Unai Simon (Athletic, Spain), and Matvey Safonov (PSG, Russia).
The winner will be announced during the Ballon d'Or ceremony on October 26. Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma was named the best goalkeeper last year.
