Argentina's Lionel Messi and Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo will play on the same team in the farewell match of former Argentina national team and Boca Juniors player Carlos Tevez.
"I had always dreamed of seeing Cristiano and Leo together on the same team. They are the greatest footballers of all time. I spoke to them. I told Cristiano that the world finally needs to see that magic. He said he would be there.
Convincing Leo wasn't difficult either. Both have given their consent. I am eagerly looking forward to that event. It will be very emotional," Footmercato quotes Tevez as saying.
Tevez was a teammate of Ronaldo at Manchester United and a teammate of Messi in the Argentina national team.
The farewell match is scheduled for this December at the "La Bombonera" stadium in the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires.
