The 31-year-old midfielder for the Portuguese national team Joao Palhinha has moved from German champions Bayern Munich to Benfica Lisbon, the Portuguese club's press service reports.
Palhinha's contract with Benfica runs until June 2030.
It was previously reported that the transfer fee amounted to €14 million, with a potential additional €5 million in bonuses.
Palhinha had been a Bayern player since 2024. Last season, he played on loan for Tottenham Hotspur in London. His transfer value is estimated at €15 million.
