Arman Tsarukyan (Armenia), the No. 2-ranked title contender in the lightweight division of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) revealed in a conversation with journalist Ariel Helwani that he will henceforth compete under the new nickname "Batman."
Previously, he competed in the UFC under the nickname "Akhalkalatsi". Tsarukyan is a native of that city.
On September 19, at the UFC 331 event in Los Angeles, Tsarukyan will face the 10th-ranked Brazilian fighter Mauricio Ruffy.
Arman Tsarukyan holds a record of 23 wins and 3 losses in MMA.
