Noah hosted the Swiss club Sion in the first leg of the Conference League third qualifying round. The match ended in a 2–2 draw.
In the match held in the city of Abovyan, Noah's 29-year-old Portuguese forward Helder Ferreira opened the scoring from a penalty kick in the 5th minute.
Sion's 20-year-old Swiss forward Winsley Boteli scored the equalizer in the 13th minute (video).
In the 20th minute, Gor Manvelyan, the 24-year-old midfielder for the Armenian national team, found the net following a pass from Helder Ferreira.
In the 26th minute, Sion's 26-year-old Swiss defender Nias Hefti was sent off after receiving a second yellow card.
In the 57th minute, 25-year-old Maltese forward Ilias Chouaref scored the visitors' second goal (video).
In the 65th minute, Noah's 27-year-old French defender, Stone Mambo, was sent off for a "denial of an obvious goal-scoring opportunity" foul near his own penalty area (video).
The return leg will take place in Switzerland on August 13.
If Noah overcomes the challenge posed by Sion, they will face the winner of the tie between the Dutch club Ajax and the Irish club Shelbourne in the qualifying play-off round.
