In the return leg of the Copa do Brasil Round of 16, Santos secured a narrow away victory over Remo (video).
Brazilian forward Roni scored the winning goal in the 74th minute. The assist came from forward Neymar, who had come on as a substitute at halftime.
The first leg had ended in a 0–0 draw. Santos advanced to the quarterfinals.
