Janes Nazaryan won the gold medal at the U-17 World Championships in Baku with an impressive victory.
The U-17 World and European champion faced Aslan Zhuev, representing Russia, in the 71 kg weight class final and won 4–3.
After winning the title, Janes Nazaryan took a victory lap with the Armenian flag, accompanied by jeers from the stands. The Armenian representative remained undeterred and completed another lap with the flag.
