La Liga: Barca beat Real to clinch title

Barcelona have defended their Spanish La Liga title.

They hosted last season’s runner-up Real Madrid and won 2-0 in Matchday 35 of La Liga football.

English striker Marcus Rashford opened the scoring in the 9th minute, and Spanish striker Ferran Torres doubled Barca’s leader in the 18th minute.

Barca have now garnered 91 points and are now unattainable for second-placed Real Madrid, who have 77 points, with three matches remaining in the current La Liga season.

Barcelona will be crowned La Liga champions for the 29th time.
