Yamal breaks Mbappe's Champions League record

Spanish champions Barcelona and European champions Spain star winger Lamine Yamal broke French striker Kylian Mbappe's age record in the UEFA Champions League with a goal against Newcastle United in the second legs of the Round of 16 of this main European football tournament.

Yamal became the youngest player to score 10 goals in the Champions League. He achieved this feat at the age of 18 years and 248 days, Opta reports.

Mbappe had achieved this feat at the age of 18 years and 350 days.
Also, Yamal has provided 10 assists in 31 Champions League matches.
In addition, he is the youngest player in Champions League history to score in two consecutive playoff matches.
