World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka has advanced to the quarterfinals in the women’s singles competition at the Indian Wells Masters tournament in the US.
In the Round of 16, the Belarusian tennis star defeated world No. 16 Naomi Osaka (Japan) 6:2, 6:4. The match lasted 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Sabalenka will face world No. 10 Victoria Mboko (Canada) in the quarterfinals.
The prize fund of the Indian Wells Masters is $9.4 million.
