Armenian Premier League titleholders and cup winners Noah hosted the Netherlands’ AZ Alkmaar in the first leg of the knockout phase playoffs of the UEFA Conference League.
The Yerevan club won the match at home with a score of 1-0.
Defender Hovhannes Hambardzumyan, 35, scored a beautiful goal in the 53rd minute.
Mixed martial arts star Arman Tsarukyan, as well as Armenian national wrestling team leaders Artur Aleksanyan, Malkhas Amoyan, and Arsen Harutyunyan were also watching the match from the stands.
The second leg will be played on February 26.
