Portuguese defender Joao Cancelo will return to Spanish La Liga titleholders Barcelona from Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal, reports Italian sports journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The parties will sign a six-month loan deal, from which Al-Hilal will receive 4 million euros.
Cancelo was wanted also by last season’s Italian Serie A runners-up Inter Milan, but the player wanted to return to Barca, where he played in 2023-2024.
The 31-year-old footballer's current contract with Al-Hilal runs until June 2027.
Transfermarkt estimates Cancelo's transfer value at 10 million euros.
