Armenia Olympic committee awards country’s world champions, medalists

The National Olympic Committee of Armenia (ANOC) has awarded the country’s athletes who showed the best results at the 2025 world championships.

According to NEWS.am Sport’s information, ANOC awarded world champions Varazdat Lalayan, Malkhas Amoyan, and other medalists.

Accordingly, world champions Malkhas Amoyan (Greco-Roman wrestling) and Varazdat Lalayan (weightlifting) received 10 million drams each.

World silver medalists Artur Davtyan and Mamikon Khachatryan (both in artistic gymnastics) received 7 million drams each.

World bronze medalists Hrachya Poghosyan, Slavik Galstyan (both in Greco-Roman wrestling), and Arsen Harutyunyan (freestyle wrestling) received 4 million drams each.

Head coaches of the Armenian national teams were also awarded.
