Sandro Perkovic, the Croatian head coach Armenian Premier League titleholders and Cup winners Noah, commented on their 1-1 draw in the game against Scottish side Aberdeen in UEFA Conference League Matchday 4, which took place in Scotland.
Both sides showed good play. In the first half Noah did not play very well, and something was missing. And they conceded a goal at the worst moment—in the final minutes of the first half, Perkovic said.
The team decided that in the second half they would change their tactics and play with two forwards. The team’s response was very good. At the beginning of the second half they scored a goal. After that, Aberdeen made three substitutions and increased the intensity, and it was not easy to withstand that, the Croatian football manager added.
Noah are taking this 1 point and moving forward. Their objective is to take 3 points in the next two matches in order to advance to the next stage, Sandro Perkovic noted.
Noah are 23rd, with 5 points, in the current Conference League standings.
The clubs that finish in the top eight will earn a place in the Round of 16.
And the teams that finish 9th to 24th will compete in the playoffs for the remaining eight spots.
