Max Dowman, the English winger of last season’s English Premier League runners-up Arsenal, has become the youngest footballer in history to play in a UEFA Champions League match—at 15 years and 308 days old.
Dowman came on as a substitute in the 73rd minute during Arsenal’s game against Slavia Praha in Matchday 4.
He broke the respective Champions League age records previously held by former Borussia Dortmund forward Youssoufa Moukoko (16 years and 18 days) and Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal (16 years and 68 days).
