Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah has become Liverpool's record holder for the number of penalties scored in the English league. Salah scored his 35th penalty goal in the Premier League.
The goal was scored in the fourth round match, where Liverpool won 1-0 against Burnley. Salah surpassed the record of 34 goals set by Scottish striker Billy Liddell, who played for Liverpool in the 1950s.
The 33-year-old Salah has scored his 188th Premier League goal and is fourth on the list of the league's all-time leading scorers.
