Portugal head coach Roberto Martinez commented on the 5-0 victory over Armenia in the first round of World Cup qualifying.
"Armenia is a competitive team and may become even more competitive in the future.
The Armenian national team did not break down, but tried to quickly recover after the early goals and switch to counterattacks.
There is no point in comparing these teams. My team played a very good match today and accomplished all the tasks set before it," said Roberto Martinez.
On September 9, the Armenian national team will host Ireland in the second round of the qualifying tournament.
