World No.2 Carlos Alcaraz has advanced to the quarterfinals of the men’s singles competition at the Wimbledon tournament. In the Round of 16, the Spanish tennis star beat world No.14 Andrey Rublev (Russia) 7:6 (7:5), 3:6, 4:6, 4:6.
The match lasted 2 hours and 42 minutes. In the quarterfinals, defending champion Alcaraz will face world No.61 Cameron Norrie (UK). The prize fund of the Wimbledon is £53.5 million.
