In the final of this tournament in Paris, the Spanish tennis star defeated world No. 1 Jannik Sinner (Italy) in five sets—4:6, 6:7 (4:7), 6:4, 7:6 (7:3), 7:6 (10:2).
The match lasted 5 hours and 29 minutes. Alcaraz won the 20th title of his professional tennis career.
The prize fund of the French Open was 56 million euros.
