World No. 1 Jannik Sinner has reached the semifinals of the French Open (Roland-Garros) tournament in Paris. In the quarterfinals of the men’s singles, the Italian tennis star defeated world No. 62 Alexander Bublik (Kazakhstan) 6:1, 7:5, 6:0.
The match lasted 1 hour and 50 minutes.
For a place in the final, Sinner will face the winner of the match between world No. 3 Alexander Zverev (Germany) and world No. 6 Novak Djokovic (Serbia) in the quarterfinals.
The prize fund of the French Open is 56 million euros.
