Former French international Kevin Gameiro has retired from professional football at the age of 37, he himself informed on social media.
Gameiro is a student of the Strasbourg football academy, and also played for Lorient, PSG, Sevilla, Atletico Madrid, and Valencia.
He played for the French national team from 2010 to 2017.
Gameiro became the French Ligue 1 champion with PSG, a three-time winner of the UEFA Europa League with Sevilla, and once won this title with Atletico Madrid. Also, Gameiro became the winner of the Copa del Rey (Spanish Cup) with Valencia.
