WTA: Elina Avanesyan becomes world no. 39 for the first time

The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has published an updated version of the singles ranking.

The representative of Armenia Elina Avanesyan has moved up 6 positions and is ranked 39th.

Last week Elina Avanesyan reached the semifinals of the WTA-500 tournament in Merida (Mexico) and lost to American Emma Navarro.
