Europa League: Match results of the day

The first legs of the knockout phase playoffs in the UEFA Europa League were played Thursday.

The clubs that finished ninth to 24th in the group stage of this football competition are competing for the remaining eight spots in the Round of 16.

The second legs will be played on February 20.

PAOK – FCSB: 1-2 

Twente - Bodo/Glimt: 2-1 

AZ Alkmaar - Galatasaray: 4-1 

Ferencvaros - Viktoria Plzen: 1-0 

Royale Union Saint-Gilloise - Ajax: 0-2 

Fenerbahce - Anderlecht: 3-0 

Midtjylland - Real Sociedad: 1-2
