Elina Avanesyan (Armenia), who is ranked world No. 41 in women’s tennis, will compete in the Linz Open tournament in Austria this week.
Avanesyan's opponent in the first round—the Round of 32—will be world No. 50 Katerina Siniakova (Czech Republic).
The match will be played Tuesday and will start at 1pm Armenia time.
The prize fund of the Linz Open is 925 thousand euros.
